Join Shankh & Friends for a kirtan experience like no other!
Using the rich & traditional musical history of Shankh Lahiri’s cultural upbringing in India and collaborating with multitalented instrumentalists, this unique Global Music Project offers a journey into ancient meditative mantra chanting ( Call & Response), leading to a joyful and unique healing experience.
Shankh Lahiri is a classically trained Indian musician. He plays tabla, harmonium, and will lead the evening with traditional mantras and ragas, but in a unique fusion style.
Shankh will be joined by Cheryl Chaffee on vocals, Matt Outlaw on guitar and vocals, and Tony Almengual on cajon.
